Operation Crusader was the British Armored advance to relieve the siege at Tobruk. RAF pilots were thrown into the battle with orders to destroy the retreating Afrika Corp ground units. The low altitude air battles of the Western Desert represented the beginning of the end for German Forces in Africa.

Designer Notes:

The flight distances are very long for this event. There will not be enough time to plan a second frame.

The P-40C Tomahawk was a standard RAF fighter in North Africa during 1941. There should be no replacement of this aircraft in the planeset to any later version of Curtis fighters.
