SUPPORT TROOPS CROSSING ARHNEM, NIJMEGAN, and REMAGEN BRIDGES!
PRESENTED MARCH 18th, 2012
EARLY 1945 Allied troops beat back the remnants of Hitler’s vaunted Waffen SS Panzer Brigades. The last strongholds of ground support and supplies from “The Battle of The Bulge†crumble while British and American Armies push toward Germany. V1 Launch sites become overrun one after the other as Air Marshall Goering sends younger and inexperienced pilots to defend The Fatherland. Now equipped with the P51 Mustang, Upgraded P47 D 40s, and The Hawker Tempest, Allied ground attack and low level airfield attacks increase in ferocity, while the last of Germany’s secret weapons (ME 262) struggle to defend airfields and supply/communications assets from marauding Allied airpower. The battle of attrition is being won by the Allies as the Luftwaffe losses and supply/fuel issues become critical.
