KOTH Setup Instructions

  • Set flight enabled for round 1 plane type for warmup.
  • @At 10 till start announce to all: “10 minutes until KOTH starts in Sea1 arena. Come on over for some dogfighting fun”
  • @At 5 till start announce to all: “5 minutes until KOTH starts in Sea1 arena. Come on over for some dogfighting fun”
  • Remind arena to tune to vox 101. On cm channel.
  • Last call for KOTH in Sea1 arena starting immediately”
  • Remind arena to tune to vox 101. On cm channel.
  • Disable flight ask pilots to tower.
  • Ask if anyone needs the rules explained (they are on the arena message but cover:
    • o 6k alt cap denoted by clouds must bail if you go above it.
    • o Everyone must try to get 5k distance or more between them after take off before fights on.
    • o If anyone is closer than 5k you can call no-joy to cm and they will have to move away.
    • o Always engage nearest enemy when fights on.
    • o Do not use 101 vox during fighting you can use range in tower.
    • o Fuel is pilot’s choice.
    • o Winner picks the next plane.

Repeat these steps.

 

  • Killshooter ON
  • Enable plane
  • Enable flight.
  • Announce  on voice and on cm channel “Everyone roll”
  • Once everyone is up disable flight. If anyone hasn’t rolled they will wait till next round.

 

Once everyone is approaching first dar ring:

  • ask if anyone needs more time to get 5k, if not
    • o turn kill shooter off
    • o on vox announce “FIGHTS ON , FIGHTS ON” 
    • o CM Text “FIGHTS ON, FIGHTS ON”

When it gets down to the last two fighters:

 Announce:

  • Vox “LAST TWO”
  • on cm channel:  “LAST TWO”
  • Announce winner and plane of choice.
    • o All tower if not already

Go to top of this list for each round.

 

Other notes: If one person wins two rounds they become wabbit.

  • Announce Wabbit’s name  on vox and in CM text before rolling.
  • Ask if anyone needs explanation on wabbit rules.
    • o Both nearest players can engage the wabbit at once.
    • o You cannot pass up a fight to engage wabbit.
    • o You can gang wabbit.
    • o If wabbit does not die, he’s the winner of KOTH. Congratulate him and he should choose the next plane.
