To get God's Eye view working (where you can zoom around on the map quickly), you need in your Aces High front end to map the following view keys (in "Options->Controls->Map Keys"):  CM Eye Move Back, CM Eye Move Forward, and CM Eye Move Map.  I use "Num Lock" on the number pad, "/" on the number pad, and "*" on the number pad, respectively.  You click the function, click the key you want to use (on the graphical mockup of the keyboard), then set the key.  If that key is already used for something else, it will tell you.  If that happens, don't clear the key, as then whatever else you are using it for won't work anymore.  Use a key you aren't already using for something else.  That's why I picked the number pad keys I did.

 

To use God's Eye view, you go into a tower, hit F5, then press the "move back" and "move forward" keys to move back and forward.  Throttle controls how fast you move.  If when pushing the "move forward" key, it doesn't seem like you are moving, then you need to increase your throttle to move faster.  The joystick and rudders control the usual pitch and roll and yaw.  Yaw is especially important to rotating your direction of movement.
